The customer approached us to design a brand that had 'true British feel', one that felt comfortable when in the company of tweed.
They were creating a British vintage inspired eyewear of boutique quality for discerning individuals. Their aim was to bring an 'absolutely spiffing' range of eyewear to customers for a price not available on the High Street. We gave TONKS OLIVER a face.
We created a logo that was classic and held the image of being typically British. The logo was simple enough that it could be used across all media - including embossing on boxes and glasses cases. The secondary logo in the square with 'TO' has a colour element to it. This represents the shape of up turned glasses placed on a surface, the higher end being the lenses and the shorter end being the arm.
